The Colorado Buffalos get arguably their toughest test of the season on Saturday against the No. 7 ranked Oregon Ducks.

The Ducks are the top team in the Pac-12 and represent real contenders for the College Football Playoff. The Buffaloes have a chance to play spoiler in Eugene, but it won’t be easy. Although Oregon has proven they are mortal, suffering a road loss to Stanford a few weeks back.

This game has an over/under of 49.5 total points, which could be a representation of Colorado’s struggles to score.

Colorado vs Oregon Prediction Week 9

Colorado took a tough loss to California last week, but also had a dominant win over the (admittedly winless) Arizona Wildcats two weeks ago. Colorado actually played Arizona better than Oregon did, if there’s any silver lining to take away from that.

If Colorado wants to have a chance in this game their offense will have to step up and score some points on an Oregon team that has surrendered almost 400 yards of combined offense this season.

A win might be a tough ask, but covering the 21.5-point spread is certainly in the cards.

Oregon 31, Colorado 17
