The biggest news out of early Signing Day this week was Eoghan Kerry. A California star who is coming to bring some of those big lights to Boulder. Calling him a flip would be a major understatement.
Kerry did commit to Colorado the first of December but it was made official this week. There is nothing more beautiful than a star from California coming to Boulder. It’s exactly the type of talent the Buffs need to put the program on the map, and become the competitive team we all know they can be.

Eoghan Kerry comes from one of the most supreme High School programs in the country. He first committed to Texas. Parting ways with the Longhorns is the gift the Buffaloes so desperately needed.

An outside linebacker who is already built and ready to attack. He will join an already young squad of defenders, and has the perfect opportunity to shine as bright as any Californian star could.

For us it is no surprise why Kerry chose Boulder. He found Colorado amazing, better than he expected. It’s a beautiful place and the mountains and overall environment there were incredible, and he had a really good time. Not to mention he will have much more playing time than he would have down in Austin.

Kerry was ranked 54th overall in the state of California, and 76th in the nation. He considers himself to be like a Luke Kuechly. If that is that case we are going to see him have a huge NCAA career, and a long standing career in the NFL.

Welcome to Boulder Eoghan Kerry and to the Buffs Family. We know you will be a force of nature in the PAC-12 for years to come.
