Colorado Buffaloes: Carson Wells soon to be NFL bound

The Colorado Buffaloes outside linebacker who was an opposing quarterbacks worst nightmare has declared he is entering the 2022 NFL Draft.

He reigns from Bushnell Florida. Standing 6’4 and 250 pounds, he had 33 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 2021. With 51 total tackles this year he had his best season yet. Well passing his 2020 season with a total of 37 tackles. He holds 154 total tackles and 17.5 sacks in his Buff career. Along with 103 solo tackles in his outstanding time at Boulder and got in the way for three interceptions. He even had one touchdown this season, where he returned an interception for 50 yards to score the first touchdown of his career. Carson is one of the best decorated tackles for loss athletic linebacker Colorado has had in its history.

We will get to see Carson one more time at the Shrine Bowl in February. He had PAC-12 honors achieving being mentioned once as performer of the week this season. In 2020 he was second team all Pac-12.

Wells had a few kind words to say about his coaches and time with Colorado a place he said he was blessed to be at.

Wells has been consistently dominant and successful all of his college career. We expect that to continue as he journeys onto the National Football League. Keep being that tackles for loss nightmare that any defensive unit in the NFL would be blessed to have.
