Colorado Buffaloes running back Jarek Broussard has announced he too is entering the transfer portal. The now biggest name out of Boulder to enter. He was the 2020 Pac-12 offensive player of the year. After today it remains to be seen if he will stay in the Pac-12 or take his talents elsewhere.

He was such a powerful player on the field at all times and will be sorely missed. The leading rusher for the Buffs for the past two seasons. Here were his words from twitter upon his decision:

"First of all I want to thank each and every Buff fan for unmatched support. My time here in Boulder was amazing and I’ve built some lifelong relationships that will last forever. Through the highs and the lows I would like to thank each and every member of the Colorado athletic staff for their love and support and helping me getting to where I am today. I graduate from Colorado in May and will forever be a proud Alum. With that being said after talking with my family I feel it’s in my best interest to enter the transfer portal.”First of all I want to thank each and every Buff fan for unmatched support. Wherever Broussard does go it’s going to be a dream for the college he chooses. He’s a backfield weapon a head coach dreams of. In 2021 he finished the season with 661 yards in 11 games. 142 rushes and 2 touchdowns, following his breakout season in 2020. He combined for a total of 1,474 yards and 5 touchdowns in 16 games. This now is the 3rd back out of Colorado opting into the transfer portal.

We give great thanks to all you have given Colorado and Buff Nation, and look forward to seeing where you land. You will be missed and always remembered for your greatness in such a short amount of time here at Boulder. Nothing but success and love to you, your future, and your family.
