Colorado Buffaloes have finally seen a bright spot this week. Instead of another playing going out the Buffs finally got one on the receiving end.  Offensive lineman Tommy Brown is coming to Boulder from the Alabama Crimson Tide. He played in 10 games for the Tide, and one start at right guard when the Tide played New Mexico. Brown totaled in 75 snaps this last season, and also helped in opening many holes for the backfield as well.  In his career he has never allowed anyone to hit his quarterbacks. He has also done some work on special teams.

Having Brown come from arguably the best college football team in the land is huge for Colorado. Brown has already been coached by some of the best in football and get’s to bring that type of knowledge to Colorado. He also took a visit to Virginia but it was the Buffs that won his heart over. UCLA also reached out to him but we are happy he decided to stay on this side of the Pac-12.

Tommy was a 4 start prospect out of Santa Ana, California. A junior, now moving on from the Deep South to the mountains of Colorado. We welcome you to Boulder with open arms, and can’t wait to see you open holes and protect our men next season.
