Colorado Football: Buffs will play in the bright lights of prime time in 2022

Colorado will be starting out the 2022 season in style. Today the Pac-12 schedule for the first three games was released. The Buffs will be airing on a major network in all three of them. A great way to start out the season. Head coach Karl Dorrell will be looking to make an impact early and show the nation how far his team has come.

TCU will come into Folsom Field on September, 2nd. Kickoff begins at 8:00 PM MT on ESPN. A Friday night under the lights spectacle you won’t want to miss. The Horned Frogs come in to the game after an overall record for 5-7 last season(3-6 in the Big 12) where they finished in 8th place.

On September 10th the herd will be at Falcon Stadium to battle Air Force with a 1:30 PM (MT) kicking off time on CBS. The Falcons finished second in the Mountain West last year carrying a 10-3 record just behind Utah State.

The Buffaloes head out to Minneapolis on September 17th, where they will take on a Minnesota team coming off another great year. The Gophers finished the season with a 9-4 record(6-3 in the Big 10) where they finished the year in second in the Big 10 West. It will be an afternoon matchup at 1:30 PM MT on ESPN 2 on Saturday. Last year the Gophers routed the Buffs 30-0.

For the second primetime game scheduled for the season Colorado will leave Boulder and go out west to challenge USC. The Buffs lost against the Trojans last season 37-14. Let’s hope Dorrell has something up his sleeve this season to get some key road victories this time around. Game time is at 7:30 PM MT on FS1 on November 11th.
