Deion Sanders has the full support of the staff at Buffs Beat — who claimed that you oughta think twice if you think the Colorado football head coach will fold under the spotlight of being in a Power conference.

“Deion Sanders didn’t come to Boulder to keep the football program in the basement,” the Buffs Beat staff prefaced before saying, “The Colorado Buffaloes coach also wasn’t put in a position to let grass grow under his feet. If you think he’s going to fold under pressure, you better think twice. A Hall-of-Famer who has won at every stop in his life, both professional and personal, isn’t going to accept anything less from the people around him.”

Everything about Coach Prime’s CU rebuild has been dramatic, but there’s a consensus that it’s been too dramatic to work. Sanders’ track record at Jackson State proves his methods can work at the lower level of Division I football at minimum, so there’s no reason to write off the Buffaloes before a single snap in this writer’s opinion.

Analyst believes Deion Sanders’ drastic Colorado football chemistry comments ‘just business’

Coach Prime made serious waves with drastic comments about the Buffaloes’ chemistry in 2023; and his lack of interest in seeing it if CU as long as winning.

“I don’t care about culture,” Sanders prefaced before saying, “I don’t even care if they like each other, I want to win.”

The Buffs Beat staff believes that such comments were made about business and business only.

“It’s all about business,” Buffs Beat wrote. “Sanders is preparing his players for the game of life. It’s rare to have a coach with the talent level of Prime come into a situation of turning over a one-win team. He’s doing things his way and not following anyone else’s example. That’s what you get when you’re ready to shake things up. It’s not conventional by the standards of others, but the critics will never be hired to coach.”
