Analyst rips Deion Sanders: ‘Is he this much of a baby?’
Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders was ripped by Mike Farrell, the architect of the Mike Farrell Sports brand, for his recent block spree on Twitter — going as far as asking if he is “this much of a baby.”
“He’s always been someone I’ve been in awe of,” Farrell prefaced before commenting on Coach Prime blocking him. “But once the sadness wore off, I was something else. I was astounded. Astounded at what? How petty Deion can be. Listen, I get that we wrote some articles, and my name is on the site. I know I’ve publicly said I don’t think he will succeed at Colorado, that they will get blasted by TCU and almost everyone else, and that jettisoning an entire roster to the transfer portal was heartless and unprofessional.
“But who am I? Deion has millions of followers (I’d give the exact number if I wasn’t blocked), has accomplished 1,000 times more than I ever will, and should be so far above me in life that I shouldn’t matter. Is he this much of a baby? Or is this his way of continuing to motivate himself, as everything is an affront to his abilities? Whatever it is, it’s dumb.”
Deion Sanders going scorched earth on media after bearish Colorado football projections
Coach Prime is bringing out the receipts and holding grudges for the extremely biased and consequently bearish projections of the Colorado football program heading into the 2023 season. Remember, Sanders was predicted by another Mike Farrell Sports writer to go from “Prime Time” to “Slime Time.” That’s just a microcosm of the doubt CU, and specifically, Sanders, dealt with in the offseason.
Can one blame Sanders? If he feels disrespected by anyone, he can withhold exposure that comes from his recognition from anyone he pleases.
Clearly, he has no problem doing that.
