Colorado vs Oregon: How to watch, odds, and injuries for Week 4
Week 4’s Colorado vs Oregon matchup will be among the most-hyped-up games of the opening of conference play, but it’s not one pegged to be a particularly close matchup by oddsmakers and sportsbooks.
The Buffaloes will be without one of their top two stars for this matchup and CU’s subsequent matchup with USC, while the Ducks will be rolling into Autzen Stadium in Eugene with, essentially, a fully healthy roster.
Can Colorado continue their highly polarizing undefeated run? Or will there be a slew of upset Buffs fans after the 2023 season’s first loss?

Colorado vs Oregon injury report
Colorado will be missing two-way star Travis Hunter for multiple weeks after a lacerated liver was the result of a dirty hit from Colorado State DB Henry Blackburn during the first quarter of Colorado’s 2OT 43-35 victory over Colorado State in Week 3’s Rocky Mountain Showdown. Tight end Louis Passarello will also be out for the next few weeks, though his absence is designated as indefinite right now. Five Buffs hold a questionable designation: RB Alton McCaskill IV (knee), WR Javon Antonio (shoulder), S Myles Slusher (undisclosed), CB Cormani McClain (undisclosed), and C Van Wells (leg).
Oregon has no absences announced, with both LB Jestin Jacobs and OL Nishad Strother present at Ducks practice this week.
Colorado vs Oregon odds
The point spread for Week 4 has Oregon as a -20.5 point favorite. Colorado is a +650 underdog on the moneyline, while Oregon is a heavy -1000 favorite. The over/under is set at 70.5, meaning that the oddsmakers are expecting a high-scoring affair. All lines are courtesy of BetMGM and are subject to change.
Colorado vs Oregon prediction
On September 21, I predicted the end of the undefeated Buffs in Year 1 of the Coach Prime era in Boulder.
“This week doesn’t look good for Colorado,” I prefaced before saying, “Though they’ve been the most significant surprise thus far in the 2023 season — going from a program projected to hit the under on a 3.5 over/under win total before the season to a ranked team by Week 2 and an undefeated team by Week 4 — all good things eventually come to an end.
“CU’s undefeated streak is going down hard in Week 4 in Eugene.”
