If Colorado football pulls off a monumental upset of Oregon as a three-touchdown underdog on the road in Week 4, Coach Prime can’t single out actor Vince Vaughn as someone who didn’t believe in his Buffs.
Going against the grain and outnumbered 4-1 on the ESPN College GameDay pregame panel on Notre Dame’s campus in South Bend, Indiana, Vaughn said he had no reason to bet against Deion Sanders and Colorado after what they showed through the first three weeks of the season.
The Fighting Irish faithful weren’t particularly receptive to CU on September 23 — perhaps feeling shunned that the spotlight isn’t on Notre Dame as it usually is –, so Vaughn’s pick wasn’t exactly a popular one.
Vince Vaughn saved the graphic.

Oregon analyst: Colorado football likely starts 3-2
No one is mistaking Oregon Live’s James Crepea for a believer in Coach Prime or Colorado football as they would a Notre Dame letterman-sporting Vaughn. Crepea predicted the Buffs to go down in consecutive weeks to the Ducks and USC.
“A loss wouldn’t derail UO’s season, but it would eliminate any margin for error as far as the CFP is concerned and probably for the Pac-12 title game as well,” Crepea said of Oregon before offering the following about CU, “Colorado has already exceeded expectations and appears to be at least a bowl team in Deion Sanders’ debut season. With USC up next there’s a likelihood that CU drops to 3-2.”
There’s been a great deal of defiance from Deion’s Buffs thus far. Knocking off Oregon, and then USC the next week, would be tough to top.
