Did Coach Prime really call out Joel Embiid during the Philadelphia 76ers’ visit with the Colorado football team — one that was taking place because the Sixers were hosting training camp at Colorado State’s campus and didn’t feel a need to visit Jay Norvell’s Rams — on October 3 in a showing of solidarity with the city of Denver’s reigning NBA Finals MVP?

The BSS Colorado account seemingly was joking about that being the case or is straight up delusional in thinking Deion Sanders would side with Nikola Jokic, who admitted to not knowing who Coach Prime was, in an early morning post on October 4; perhaps before a few coffees were consumed, unless, again, the account was trolling to begin with.

“Even Coach Prime knows Embiid is ducking our Serbian king,” the account prefaced before saying, ‘A lot of people ducking that smoke right now’ with Embiid directly in front of him.”

Did Coach Prime take a shot at James Harden during Sixers’ Colorado football visit?

Now this is a more relevant question.

Coach Prime made comments that were vague enough not to be directed at anyone but certainly applied to the situation of the Sixers’ current situation with James Harden; who has demanded a trade from the franchise and could do whatever it takes to get one.

“I’m loyal and I’m faithful to winning — not a man,” Sanders said (h/t The Philadelphia Inquirer). “I’m faithful to winning. So I’m going to do whatever I gotta do to win. So if me and your relationship gotta end, I’m going to win. God bless you. Now, I’ll see you, because we’re going to win. And I’m going to do whatever I gotta do to get it.”

“Prime Time” had no reason to defend Jokic, but he had every reason to give the men in front of them a pep talk on how to stay focused and win despite all the noise, just as the Buffs did the first three weeks of the 2023 season.
