“It may take much money and support” for Coach Prime to leave the Colorado football program for the Denver Broncos according to Sports World News’s BJ Yalung — who ultimately agrees with Deion Sanders himself as to why the 56-year-old likely first-year Power Five HC isn’t looking for an NFL jump at all.

“It may take much money and support for Broncos management to make that happen,” Yalung said of Coach Prime taking over the Broncos’ head coaching job currently occupied by Sean Payton after long-shot odds were released for that happening. “Sanders has proven he can rebuild and charismatically manage a football team. However, while he was able to do it at the college level, it remains to be seen if he can do it in the pro ranks.

“One problem seen is how he will handle NFL players receiving fat salaries. Things are different at the NFL level, and Sanders did admit that he would have problems motivating this kind of player.”

Coach Prime not leaving Colorado football, or college football, for any NFL team

Coach Prime told Rich Eisen on the September 15 edition of The Rich Eisen Show that he isn’t a fan of the coaching dynamics in the NFL; likely keeping him at the collegiate ranks for the rest of his career.

“I love college,” Coach Prime said (h/t NBC Sports). “I love that the young men are still impressionable. They’re not so financially wealthy that they can’t hear you. At the next level, some of these guys make so much money they can’t hear. They can’t hear or they can’t see the things that they need to see and hear. I would have a hard time motivating a man that makes upwards of 20 and 30 and sometimes 40 million dollars to go out there and do your job. I got a problem with that.”

Coach Prime jumping to a Florida-based team that’s not FSU feels like the most likely outcome if Sanders isn’t long for Boulder.
