1985: Washington 20 Colorado 17

Bill McCartney went 7-25-1 in his first three seasons leading Colorado, but in 1985 he started to break through with a 7-5 season that ended with this loss in the Freedom Bowl. It was the first of nine bowl appearances for McCartney who went 3-6 in those games.
