With Coach Prime being the center of the sports world, the biggest concern with the huge personality is whether will he leave the Colorado football program for another job in the future. He has shown that he can turn around programs and bring in a lot of media attention wherever he goes.

Who wouldn’t hire Deion Sanders?

Constance Schwarts-Morini, Coach Prime’s manager, addressed the likely swarm of offers Sanders will receive during the October 26 edition of The Rich Eisen Show, implying that he’ll be sticking in Boulder for the long haul.

In response, Denver Sports’ Jake Shapiro called Sanders the “rare coach” who can turn down any offer but also warned that Coach Prime has gone back on things before.

“He’s the rare coach who has made so much money from his prior career maybe he could say no if he got offered something big based on his work with the Buffs,” Shapiro prefaced before saying, “Plus he’s said over and over again he will never coach in the NFL—but things change, as he’s once again with Nike after saying he would never do that again.”

Analyst’s Coach Prime take is music to Colorado football fans’ ears

This is exactly what every fan of the Colorado Buffaloes loves to hear. Coach Prime in Boulder for the long term so he can go on and build a Championship contender is what’s best for business in Northern Colorado, and gives the country another worthwhile program worth paying attention to.

When money is not an issue for you, that gives you the power to do what you want. And if staying in Colorado is what Coach Prime wants, that is exactly what Coach Prime will do.

With this being his first year with the Buffs, many have been concerned that he may go on and coach for bigger college programs or even go on to coach in the NFL. Right now, though, it is safe to say that Coach Prime is loving his time in Colorado and that he will stay at the program as long as he wants to stay at the program.

People change. The door is always open for Sanders to do something else if that is what his heart desires, but right now, Colorado fans can rest their heads at night knowing that this program is where he wants to be.
