With the influx of transfers to Boulder this year, the Colorado football program has brought on several special talents since Deion Sanders took over.

Specifically, a trio of players who will one day move on from Colorado and take their talents to the NFL represents the explosiveness and versatility of the Buffs’ offensive attack; and one player also happens to be the best defender in the country.

Coach Prime did well to bring these players to the University of Colorado, but he will have to do an equally effective job at replacing them.

Colorado football will definitely see these players leave for the NFL

Shedeur Sanders

The son of Coach Prime has shown himself to be a very respectable quarterback talent. At points during the season, many have even said they can see Shedeur Sanders going as high as the first round.

Shedeur has certainly proven himself this season with his solid play carrying Colorado to exceeded expectations. While Coach Prime wants his son to stay for at least one more season, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Shedeur Sanders will one day be playing on an NFL roster as a very well-respected Colorado football alumni.

Travis Hunter

The former five-star recruit still has a way to go before he finds himself in the NFL, but everyone knows that Travis Hunter is a talent that almost every NFL team will be looking to add to their roster in the future.

Hunter has lived up to his high expectations out of high school and could conceivably end up becoming one of the best cornerbacks the game has ever seen; having shined for Colorado on the defense this year with a game that looks like it will only continue to grow as he gets coached by one of the greatest to ever do it.

Coach Prime can have Hunter ready to do his best “Prime Time” impression when he gets to the next level. No. 12 has a very real chance to one day be remembered as an all-time CB1.

Xavier Weaver

The Buffs’ leading receiver, Xavier Weaver, could be the one talent that does move on to the NFL after this season. Weaver has shown that he can make huge plays on offense and has had a program-shifting impact coming from USF.

Weaver’s gravity opens up opportunities for his teammates, and many franchises across the NFL are going to be looking at drafting him; perhaps on the draft’s first day.
