Social media doesn’t want to see 5-star Colorado football CB Cormani McClain languish on the bench in Boulder any longer, pleading for him to hit the transfer portal in the offseason to find the field-time Coach Prime is denying him on the Buffs.

“Cormani McClain hit that transfer portal bro,” commanded one poster. “Deion ain’t leading in the right direction…this is ridiculous.”

“I thought I was the only one seeing it,” replied another, who was told by the original poster that what Deion Sanders is doing to McClain is “nasty.”

“Dude see’s FSU at 9-0,” quipped another poster, accompanied by a laughing emoji.

“A lot of them will hit the portal,” one poster prefaced before saying, “Deion doesn’t develop players and he is not a players coach now matter what people think. He tells them whatever to get them and then he is done with them. I bet Hunter wishes he had went to FSU now.”

“(Not going to lie), Coach Prime better hope he can keep Cormani McClain & Omarion Miller — them young bulls can play anywhere,” warned another.

Cormani McClain saw field for Colorado football against Oregon State in Week 10

For what it’s worth, McClain did make his first appearance on November 4 for the Buffs since Week 5 against USC during Week 10’s 26-19 Colorado loss to Oregon State. While McClain didn’t have a star showing, getting beaten by future NFL tight end Jack Velling on a big gain during his second-half stint, he did double his tackle total on the year with one solo and one assisted against the Beavers.

It’s unclear what his usage will be through the final three weeks of the season, but it has to bode well for McClain that he saw the field in a pivotal conference game the Buffs were in striking distance of winning in the fourth quarter.
