Pac-12 QB rankings No. 11: Dante Moore

  • Passing yards: 1,344
  • TD: 10 INT: 7
  • Comp: 52.0%
  • YPA: 7.7

Like Arizona State, UCLA was hoping that their highly-recruited freshman could carry them through the season and that hasn’t been the case. For most of the year, injuries haven’t been the issue with Dante Moore, like they have for Rashada, instead it’s been turnovers.

Moore not only has seven interceptions, but he also has 11 turnover-worthy plays. Now, the injury bug is hitting the freshman. Both he and Ethan Garbers suffered injuries last week in the Bruins loss to Arizona. It could be Colin Schlee taking over against Arizona State.

Moore has shown flashes of the talent that made him one of the top quarterback recruits in the country. Ultimately he’ll succeed in Chip Kelly’s offense, he’ll just do it next season in the Big Ten, not in the Pac-12.
