Shelomi Sanders, the sister of Colorado football stars Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders and the youngest daughter of Coach Prime, made her debut for JR Payne’s women’s basketball team on December 2 during a 74-58 win over Air Force at the Clune Arena.

“Bossy” Sanders scored the final three points for the Buffs from beyond the arc with 19 seconds left to go in the fourth quarter. Sanders entered the game with Colorado up 69-50 over the Falcons.

With the win, Colorado’s No. 7-ranked women’s basketball team improved to 8-1.

Where Coach Prime’s Colorado football-playing sons, basketball playing daughter landed on Deion’s latest child rankings

Something many who cover Deion like to ridicule CU’s head football coach for is his rankings for which of his kids he likes the most at that moment. The latest had his oldest son Deion Sanders Jr., who recently waged an internet war with Danny Kanell, at the top spot, with Shelomi right behind him and her football-playing brothers behind her.

“Deion Sanders, Jr. took the top spot,” reported BuffsBeat’s Josh Tolle. “The founder of Well Off Media has been instrumental in providing the best coverage of the Colorado Buffaloes. The oldest of his three sons deserves to be recognized.

“Behind Bucky was ‘Bossy,’ better known as Shelomi Sanders, who came in at No. 2. The Lady Buffs guard is in the midst of the non-conference schedule on the other side of campus and comes to visit her father every chance she gets. The third spot was likely the toughest for Sanders. However, Shilo Sanders came in right at the middle of the pack. He tumbled after holding the top spot, following the loss to Stanford. Shedeur Sanders was at No. 4 and had a bit of a comeback. He still couldn’t break into the top three but wasn’t in the basement.”

Deiondra, a former basketball player in her own right, though not at the Power Five level, came in last.
