Alvin Kamara visits Boulder as Shedeur-to-Saints buzz heats up

There’s never a dull moment in Boulder, and Tuesday was no exception. While most of the nation was busy digesting Mel Kiper Jr.’s latest mock draft, Coach Prime had a surprise guest drop by practice—New Orleans Saints star Alvin Kamara.

The timing? Impeccable.

Kiper's latest mock has Shedeur Sanders falling to No. 9 overall, right into the lap of the Saints. Whether that’s divine intervention or just smart roster forecasting, it’s not lost on anyone that Kamara’s visit happened the same day that Shedeur’s name got linked to the big easy.

Kamara looked relaxed, laughing on the sidelines and dapping up Coach Prime. But make no mistake—this was more than a casual check-in. With Kellen Moore now calling plays for the Saints, pairing him with Shedeur could revive a stagnant offense and give Kamara a fresh jolt in year nine.

Let’s not forget: Shedeur balled out at the 'We ain't hard to find Showcase'. Completing 58-of-63 passes with only two true incompletions (three were flat-out drops), he reminded scouts why he is projected as QB1.

"He throws a really catchable ball,” one exec said. "He’s definitely a pocket guy, but athletic enough to buy time.”

That sounds like the kind of guy who could thrive in New Orleans, handing off to Kamara or dropping dimes downfield.

Coincidence? Maybe. Or maybe this was a subtle passing of the torch—from one superstar to the next.
