Despite losing top receiver Omarion Miller to the transfer portal this winter, the Colorado Buffaloes improved their wide receiver corps this offseason.
Miller transferred to rival Arizona State, following in former Buffs' receiver Jordyn Tyson's footsteps, who's projected as a top-ten pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Newly acquired offensive coordinator Brennan Marion steps into a wide receiver room loaded with talent. Transfers DeAndre Moore Jr. (Texas), Kam Perry (Miami-OH), Danny Scudero (San Jose State), and Ernest Campbell (Sacramento State) each bring a unique brand of speed that should give Big 12 defenses fits.
Combined with returning players Joseph Williams, Hykeem Williams, and Quentin Gibson, that creates multiple strong options and different packages the Buffs can use.
Marion has a plan in place for everyone.

Don't count your reps, make your reps count
Marion noted that at UNLV they distributed the ball widely, with nine players recording 50+ touches—a positive sign for the entire receiver corps who have a talented quarterback in Julian Lewis distributing the ball.
The wide receiver rotation's depth will become clear once Big 12 play begins. Marion's comments suggest everyone will get opportunities if they capitalize on their chances and make the most of their reps.
Colorado's nonconference schedule provides the perfect proving ground for the position group. Games against Georgia Tech, Weber State, and Northwestern will reveal the number of guys Marion intends on using.
The offensive sets they deploy will be intriguing, particularly for speedsters Ernest Campbell, Kam Perry, and Quentin Gibson who all possess game-changing speed.
He has both a skilled wide receiver room and a deep, intruging running back rotation that can rotate in and out.
