Coach Prime and the Buffs are back at it, stacking up visits from some serious blue-chip talent. If you thought Colorado was slowing down in the recruiting game, think again. The Buffs are rolling out the red carpet for some of the nation’s best, and you better believe they’re coming to Boulder with eyes wide open.

First up, 4-star OT Johnnie Jones (April 5). The Buffs need trench warriors, and this dude fits the bill. At 6’5” and 300 pounds, Jones is the kind of mauler that can make CU’s offense hum.

Then there’s 4-star DL James Johnson (March 15). The Buffs need to beef up that D-line, and Johnson brings the kind of raw power and athleticism that can wreck game plans. He also hails from Coach Prime's high school.

At linebacker, we’ve got not one, but two studs coming in June. Izayia Williams (June 17) and Rodney Colton Jr. (June 20) are both high-motor playmakers who would instantly upgrade CU’s defensive firepower.

And let’s not forget the signal-caller we are most excited about: 4-star QB Oscar Rios (June 20). Anytime you get a top-tier QB on campus, it’s a big deal. Rios has a cannon for an arm and the swagger to match—sounds like a Prime prototype.

With top recruits locking in visit dates, the message is clear—Coach Prime still has that pull, and Boulder is the place to be.
