Shedeur Sanders, the man who helped Hunter win the award with a Heisman finalist season -- he ranked No. 8 -- evoked his infamous wristwatch celebration.

Hunter's win was unlikely before the season, but CU shocked the world and had a 9-3 season. Once the season progressed, and Hunter pulled off a memorable final two weeks against Kansas and Oklahoma State, the award was sealed up. Winning the Bednarik, Biletnikoff, and Walter Camp Awards, and being named Associated Press college football Player of the Year, was the cherry on top.
Hunter's collegiate career started with something no one ever did before: committing to an HBCU (Jackson State) as the No. 1 overall recruit. He ended it playing both sides of the ball at the Power 4 level and winning the Heisman.
No. 12 is one of one.
