While all the attention was on Shedeur sliding to the fifth round, Shilo Sanders quietly signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent — and we're excited to see how it plays out.

Coach Prime was so grateful, he picked up the phone and personally thanked Bucs head coach Todd Bowles. That’s not just a proud dad move — it shows how much belief he has in Shilo’s game. And Bowles isn’t just doing Coach Prime a favor. He told SiriusXM he watched Shilo all season and loved what he saw: a sure tackler with great vision and football IQ.
He had 67 total tackles, two forced fumbles, a sack, and a pair of pass breakups in 2024. Shilo was the heart of Colorado’s secondary, and now he’s got a shot to prove himself in an NFL locker room.
The Bucs have Antoine Winfield Jr. locked in at safety, but beyond that? There's an opportunity. If Shilo can show out on special teams and keep making smart, aggressive plays, there’s no reason he can’t carve out a spot.
