After a weekend that saw Colorado land two key defensive pieces in Terrance Love and Teon Parks, the Buffs are eyeing a game-changer on offense and special teams: BYU’s Keelan Marion.

Marion isn’t just another name in the portal. With Coach Prime 'dissapointed' that CU did not have more success in the return game in 2024, it's evident that Marion could be that piece he is looking for.
A First Team All-American kick returner in 2024 (named by Walter Camp, FWAA, PFF, CBS Sports, and Phil Steele), Marion lit up the Big 12 with 472 yards and 2 TDs on 18 returns. He became BYU’s first player with two kick return TDs in a season since 1989. That earned him Big 12 Kick Returner of the Year honors and a pile of All-Conference awards.
The 6-foot, 195-pound Atlanta native caught 24 passes on offense for 346 yards and a score last year while also taking 21 carries for 96 yards and two more touchdowns.
Originally from UConn, where he led the Huskies in receiving as a redshirt freshman with 474 yards and five touchdowns, Marion brings flash. He's a redshirt senior with years of college football under his belt, and yes, he claims he's the best basketball player on any team he's ever been on.
With programs like Florida State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Wisconsin also after him, the Buffs will have to make a strong pitch. But if he visits Boulder, don’t count Coach Prime out.
