It's flip season, and Coach Prime ain't hard to find. Deion Sanders is working hard on the recruiting trail and looking for prospects whose commitments might not be as solid as they seem.
Colorado has several major needs in the 2026 class, and they remain well behind the pace. Colorado has 13 commitments in a class that currently ranks No. 67 in the composite. The Buffaloes need a splash in the worst way.
According to Colorado Buffaloes on SI, Sanders might get that splash by way of an elite Auburn commitment.
5-star safety Bralan Womack, the No. 1 safety in the 2026 class, per the 247 composite, recently revealed an offer from Colorado on his social media:
After a great conversation with @Coach_Gunnar I am blessed to receive an offer from Colorado! #SkoBuffs 🦬 @DeionSanders @coachbailey_abc @TomLoy247 @ChadSimmons_ @SWiltfong_ @CraigBowman2 @wpg_coach_rip pic.twitter.com/uVKu3PnW8Z

On SI's Thomas Gorski writes that Womack "remains hard-committed to Auburn for now, but with questions about Hugh Freeze’s future, his recruitment could still take a turn."
Gorski adds:
"Sanders and his staff have made it clear they’d love to have Womack in Boulder. Landing a player of his caliber would be a big addition as Colorado continues to build its Big 12 identity. Even if the chances are slim, the offer shows the Buffaloes aren’t backing down from competing with the nation’s top programs."
Bralan Womack's frustration with Auburn's on-field performance could lead to his flip
Womack made waves over the weekend in the aftermath of Auburn's fourth consecutive loss, expressing his frustration over how quickly the season has gone downhill on the Plains.
"You've got to score 20 or more points to compete, Womack said via Fly War Eagle. "And we've done that zero times in SEC play. It doesn't look like it's going to change. Nothing's changing. Defense, we had some times we could've gotten off the field. But when the time prevailed, we got you the ball two extra times and did nothing with it. You've got to capitalize on offense. All the teams that are successful right now in the college world are putting numbers on the scoreboard. We're not doing it."
Womack tried to walk back some of those comments, but it's clear that Auburn's struggles on the field have been weighing on the 5-star.
Hugh Freeze's future is also clearly up in the air. He hasn't gotten the public vote of confidence from the Administration that he so desperately covets, and with the Tigers potentially on the way to another losing season, there could be change on the way.
While Womack remains committed to Auburn, it's noteworthy that he's taking a visit to LSU this weekend.
If Coach Prime wants to flip the blue-chip safety, he's going to have his work cut out for him, as programs across the country are already lining up in hopes that he's going to reopen his recruitment.
