Coach Prime isn’t slowing down on the recruiting trail, and his latest target is 2026 three-star tight end Julius Miles. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound playmaker out of Freeport, Florida, announced he'll take an official visit to Boulder from May 9-11. He’s also checking out Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Louisville, and Florida State, but let’s be honest—when Deion Sanders gets a recruit on campus, anything can happen.

Colorado’s offense could use a difference-maker at tight end, and Miles certainly fits the mold. His junior season saw him rack up 895 yards and seven touchdowns, proving he can be a big-time threat. But the Buffs aren’t just competing with other schools; they’re competing with history. Since joining the Big 12, Colorado has struggled to establish a dominant tight end presence. Could Miles change that?
Right now, Louisville seems to have the edge, but if there's one thing we've learned, it’s that you don’t count out Deion Sanders. The Buffs already pulled in transfer tight end Zach Atkins and two high school recruits in the 2025 class, but Miles would be the biggest get yet.
Colorado has yet to land a 2026 commitment, while teams like Kansas are already stacking their classes. If Miles leaves Boulder impressed, the Buffs could finally get on the board.
Prime Time recruiting is alive and well, let’s see if he delivers again.
