You can mark your calendars as the University of Colorado has announced the official date for its Black and Gold spring game.

Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM MST, with Deion Sanders now heading into his fourth year at the helm.

The spring game will give the team and fans their first look at Colorado's revamped offense and defense, with first-year offensive coordinator Brennan Marion implementing his "Go-Go" offense.

Under Coach Prime, the defense will look entirely different this season, headlined by a class of newcomers that includes Boo Carter, Santana Hopper, Gideon Lampron, Ezra Christensen, and Liona Lefau, among several other additions.

Coming off a difficult 3-9 campaign, Colorado will need a significant turnaround to reclaim bowl eligibility this season.

Julian Lewis is set to start at quarterback for Colorado after appearing in four games last season, including two starts. He completed 55.3% of his passes for 589 yards, threw four touchdowns, and finished with a 121.9 passer rating.

After losing top wide receiver target Omarion Miller to Arizona State via the transfer portal this winter, Colorado moved quickly to rebuild its wide receiver depth, bringing in DeAndre Moore Jr., Danny Scudero, Kam Perry, and Ernest Campbell.

Colorado’s offensive line underwent a significant overhaul as well this offseason, losing former five-star left tackle Jordan Seaton to LSU.

Lewis will have a chance to build some rapport with those guys during spring practices, including returners Joseph Williams, Quanell Farrakhan Jr., Hykeem Williams, and Quentin Gibson
