Deion Sanders needs something to give Colorado a boost on the recruiting trail. A 5-star Alabama commitment would be just what the doctor ordered.
5-star WR Cederian Morgan, the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 3 WR in the 2026 recruiting class, is on a visit this weekend to Boulder and in attendance for the Buffs' matchup against Wyoming.

Colorado was one of the finalists for Morgan over the summer. He took an official visit to Boulder in May, but ultimately committed to the in-state Crimson Tide on July 2nd. This is his first GameDay visit to Colorado, and he was greeted with the return of Ralphie.
Cederian Morgan would ba game-changing flip for Coach Prime, Colorado
It's been a slow go for Deion Sanders and Colorado in building the 2026 class. Sanders' health issues over the summer kept him from recruiting, a fact that other programs took full advantage of. As things stand, Colorado ranks No. 83 in the composite rankings (last in the Big 12) with just 11 commitments. Morgan would be a massive coup if Coach Prime could do what he does best and convince the super-talented WR to flip.
Sanders has been looking for a way to change the momentum and the narrative around this recruiting class. Going into the state of Alabama and stealing away one of the Crimson Tide's top commitments would be a loud statement for the Buffs.
Coach Prime has won plenty of head-to-head recruiting matchups against some of the premier programs and coaches in the country. Who knows if Morgan is seriously wavering on his commitment to Alabama, but the fact that he was willing to make the weekend trip to Boulder is a good sign that the Buffs are still alive in his recruitment. And Sanders is one of the most persuasive coaches in the country: all he needs is an audience, and he may be able to convince the elite prospect to head west.
If nothing else, Morgan's trip to Folsom Field will serve to make Alabama fans and coaches nervous. Some positive results on the football field for Colorado moving forward would only improve their chances of a flip.
