Rated three stars by multiple recruiting services, Price made stops at Mississippi State and Coastal Carolina before landing in Boulder.
The senior running back was working toward career-bests in attempts and rushing yards before an injury sidelined him for most of the season.
Price played Colorado's first four games until an ankle injury in the Wyoming game sidelined him for the final eight games of the season.
The Pensacola, Florida native rushed 21 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 6.8 yards per carry.
He scored in back-to-back weeks against Houston and Wyoming.
Price follows Dallan Hayden as the second running back to enter the portal.
Colorado received commits from former Sacramento State running backs Damian Henderson II and Jaquail Smith earlier in the transfer portal, joining their former head coach who took the offensive coordinator gig in Boulder.
The duo brings valuable knowledge, having already mastered offensive coordinator Brennan Marion's playbook regarding his 'Go-Go' offense.
The Colorado backfield remains in good hands with experienced halfbacks Micah Welch and Dekalon Taylor continuing to anchor the roster.
Taylor, like Price, missed the final eight games of the season due to injury.
To contend in 2026, Colorado must improve their running game, which ranked second-to-last in yardage.
While Coach Marion certainly has hurdles to overcome adjusting to Big 12 defenses, his talented roster seems ready to turn heads and shake things up on the field with their speed.
