Moore Jr. now rounds out Colorado's freshly stocked receiver room, joining fellow newcomers Kam Perry, Ernest Campbell, and Danny Scudero in what promises to be an exciting new-look unit for offensive coordinator Brennan Marion’s ‘Go-Go’ offense.
Deandre Moore's commitment to Colorado gives the Buffs a loaded WR room
Moore Jr., a four-star 2023 recruit, initially committed to Oklahoma and Louisville before switching to Texas.
The wide receiver has one year of eligibility remaining.
In just three years at Texas, Moore Jr. demonstrated remarkable productivity, hauling in 77 receptions for 988 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns.
His sophomore season proved exceptional with seven touchdown receptions, tying Gunnar Helm for second-most on the team, just two behind Matthew Golden.
Talk about efficiency. The standout receiver turned every single one of his three catches against Arkansas into a touchdown in Texas’ 52-37 win.
He tallied just four touchdowns this past season, with his other score coming in a 23-6 win over Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry.
Watch for Moore Jr. to carve out a significant role in Colorado's revamped up-tempo offense. The pairing with Joseph Williams could give opponents headaches as they form what promises to be an explosive 1-2 punch.
Plus, they have impressive depth with speedsters that can rotate at the slot position.
Despite Seaton's loss, Colorado continues to rebuild this team from the bottom up.
