Steelers fans, you might want to start watching Colorado highlights.
Shedeur Sanders is coming to town. Literally. The Colorado quarterback is scheduled for a pre-draft visit with the Steelers, and while it might not sound like a big deal at first, don’t brush it off. Pittsburgh doesn’t bring in just anyone.

Now, no, Mike Tomlin wasn’t front row at his Pro Day. Omar Khan didn’t make a big scene at the Combine. But if you know how the Steelers operate, you know they love flying under the radar. And bringing Shedeur in this late in the process? That’s not nothing.
At the We Ain’t Hard 2 Find NFL Showcase in Boulder, Shedeur Sanders looked every bit like a franchise quarterback. Surrounded by scouts, coaches, and front office reps from across the league, he put on an absolute clinic. His timing, accuracy, and footwork stood out immediately, especially during deep ball drills where he dropped dime after dime with ease. Shedeur’s poise and command of the workout echoed the same confidence we saw all season—calm, sharp, and unshaken.
Shedeur Sanders showed exactly why teams like the Steelers are taking a serious look.
With Pittsburgh, he fits. Call him the next Kordell Stewart. And c'mon, Mason Rudolph cannot be their plan this year. Shedeur gives you a chance to reset the quarterback room with a confident, battle-tested leader who’s been in the spotlight his whole life.
Right now, Pittsburgh holds the 21st pick in the draft, which probably isn’t high enough to grab Shedeur. But the Saints sit at No. 9, and Fansided's Christopher Kline thinks the Steelers could package a deal to move up and get their guy. It’d likely cost them some future picks or a key player, but if they truly see Shedeur as their next franchise quarterback, it might be worth it.
