Deion Sanders revealed on The Rich Eisen Show what NFL teams will be landing spots for Shedeur, and his answer was straightforward: the two worst teams in the league, the Las Vegas Raiders and the NY Giants.
This confirms that Shedeur wants more than just the team he constantly gives signals he wants to play for, the Raiders.
"I just want them happy, in the right situation to soar. Unfortunately, they are so good that they are going to go to a team that was not that good the prior year. But that can all change with the announcement of their names. That can all change, quickly," Coach Prime said.
"I just saw the goal was to go before I did. And he is gonna eclipse that because I was the fifth pick. He is certainly going to be one or two or whatever he is going to be. So, that is what he wants. He never told me that but that is what he wants ... It is the Raiders or the Giants. Those two probably. And you know right now, that is where it is going to go."
The Giants and Raiders are racing to the bottom as we speak. Could Tom Brady ensure the Raiders draft Shedeur one way or another? Perhaps. There's seemingly too many links that make Las Vegas his next landing spot.
But maybe Shedeur playing catch with Giants WR Malik Nabers the night of the Heisman Trophy ceremony is a bigger deal than what was made of it.
