In a shocking turn of events, Colorado star wide receiver Omarion Miller will be entering the transfer portal, per On3's Hayes Fawcett:

Miller was undisputedly Colorado’s most dynamic and reliable receiver. Buff Nation will never forget the first year under Deion Sanders where Miller, as a true freshman, caught seven passes for 196 yards and a touchdown.

The junior will have one year of eligibility left and leaves a gaping hole in the Buffs’ wide receiver room.

Omarion Miller entering the Transfer Portal is devastating for Colorado

As of right now, Colorado will be returning receivers such as Quentin Gibson, Joseph Williams, Quanell Farrakhan Jr., and Kam Mikell to name a few. Mikell saw some time at running back to end the season like fellow teammate Dre’lon Miller.

Colorado also received a hard commit from four-star wide receiver Xavier McDonald, who was previously committed to Sacramento State with newly acquired offensive coordinator Brennan Marion.

It’s safe to say Colorado’s wide receiver room has never lacked the talent and it’s one of the position groups that shines year after year.

They just need someone to get them the ball and hopefully Julian Lewis fixes that.

Miller caught 45 passes for 808 yards this past season with Colorado, recording eight touchdowns. He led the team in all three categories.

In his final game as a member of the Buffs, Miller caught eight passes for 121 yards in the 24-14 loss to Kansas State.

The transfer portal era in college football is a different beast, but it’s hard to fault Miller for this decision considering how Colorado’s season turned out. Going from a 9-4 record to an underachieving 3-9 doesn’t sit well with most.

Whoever gets Omarion is going to get a game changer at the wide receiver position.
