Deion Sanders has extended an offer to a 2028 safety from Birmingham, Alabama, showing his long-term recruiting vision.

At 6-foot-3, CJ Craig-James has drawn offers from 13+ teams, including Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Mississippi State to name a few.
The upcoming junior has Colorado on his radar. The Parker product is planning a trip to check out the Buffaloes during their spring practice sessions.
""I plan to visit Colorado during the spring practice calendar," Craig-James said. "I was extremely happy to receive an offer from CU. Having an opportunity to play for (Deion) 'Coach Prime' (Sanders), in a city as beautiful as Boulder, is a dream come true."Adam Musterteiger, BuffStampede.com
He aims to improve on their 8-win season while adding muscle to his frame.
In a recent Touchdown Alabama interview, Craig-James identified two teams that stood out before Colorado's offer.
Georgia Tech and Mississippi State
In addition, Craig-James informed BuffStampede.com that he is open to joining a team that focuses on developing high school talent and where he feels comfortable.
He recently just completed his South Carolina visit on Jan. 31and has attended every Alabama football game this season, mentioning the Crimson Tide would be front-runners if they offer.
"He has a relationship with the Tide’s defensive backs coach Maurice Linguist and the Tide’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach. Roach is major part of the Tide’s in-state recruiting efforts."Larry Rudolph, Touchdown Alabama
Craig-James is an intriguing prospect to watch as he enters his junior season. I anticipate that his offers will significantly increase during this time.
