Deion Sanders is high on Colorado football's supply after the Buffs' recent transfer portal wins -- most notably, landing ex-Liberty QB Kaidon Salter to take over the starting role for a year until Julian Lewis is ready to take over.

Coach Prime claimed that the portal is not hard to navigate a day before the Salter signing.

“I don’t think it’s difficult to navigate around the portal,” Sanders said Tuesday, per USA Today. “I just think the portal is surprising some these coaches that didn’t understand what it was. I understood what it was Day 1, don’t you think?”

Coach Prime flexed on the media too, telling them that he played the fool for a while and watched them knowing his time would come. Sanders went biblical with it.

“I was willing to look like a fool for a period of time,” Sanders said. “I listened to y’all (in the news media). I watched it, and we understood it. But Noah looked like a fool too when he kept saying it was gonna rain, right?... The rain is coming now for everybody right?

“Yeah, we good. We’re in the Ark now.”

Sanders has been calling his shots since arriving at Colorado. Certainly, saying "we're in the ark now" comes off as yet another declaration of loyalty to CU. From the look of how the offseason has gone, with Jehiem Oatis committing as well to give Robert Livingston's side of the ball an impact addition, the good times will continue to roll in Boulder.

That's subject to change if too many key coaching and support staff members leave. For now, though, the Buffs are charging coming.

Just as Deion said they would.
