The Colorado Buffaloes landed a class of 2027 recruit Thursday night as Deion Sanders secured a commitment from a promising three-star cornerback.

Coach Prime just secured another piece for his secondary.
Davon Dericho took to X to announce his commitment to Colorado, where he projects as a nickel corner capable of making an immediate impact at the Power 4 level.
The 5-foot-9 cornerback from Miami Killian High School ranks 57th at his position and 593rd overall in the 2027 class.
He becomes Colorado's first commitment from that class.
Cornerback Dolph McDonald became Colorado's first 2027 commit in December after Brennan Marion joined from Sacramento State. However, he decommitted in January via social media.
Listed as a three-star cornerback according to, 247Sports, Dericho chose Colorado over schools such as Florida State, Indiana, Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Maryland.
Over 20 games at Miami Killian, Dericho has built an impressive defensive resume. He has accounted for 98 tackles, 19 tackles for a loss, nine sacks, four interceptions, and three forced fumbles.
Dericho is a multi-sport athlete at Miami Killian who qualified for states as a junior on the 4x100 relay track team.

Dericho didn't hold back in praising Coach Prime, whose credentials speak for themselves.
Sanders earned Hall of Fame induction in 2011, 8 Pro Bowl selections, 6 All-Pro honors, and two Super Bowl rings (XXIX and XXX).
