ESPN's Mel Keiper came bearing some good news for Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado quarterback clearly favors one team to draft him in the 2025 NFL draft: The Las Vegas Raiders. Good for him, the Raiders are also expected to be eager to have Sanders on board, and would even go an extra mile to make that possible, as Keiper believes.

"Tom Brady's going to be influential with the Raiders," Keiper prefaced on ESPN's First Draft before saying, "The Raiders thought they were going to get a QB last year picking with the 13th. They didn't get Michael Penix Jr. who they targetted. They sat where they were and they were all gone."

This season, the Raiders have learned their lesson and won't repeat the mistake.

"They're going to be aggressive and get a QB," Keiper said.

Las Vegas's dire need for a QB as they failed to land one last season, but that's not all to their story.

They also need a QB to even remotely think of getting to the playoffs, since they have the best QBs in the league like Patrick Mahomes in their division. This is precisely why, Shedeur Sanders, considered the best in college football this season, would be a perfect competition.

"They're a division with Mahomes and Herbert now ... but the AFC in general is loaded with great quarterbacks and loaded with the best of all time in your division. They got to do it. So they're going to go, I think, hard for Shedeur," Keiper said.

Shedeur Sanders knows the Raiders are looking for a QB

On his podcast 2 Legendary with Shedeur Sanders, the Buffs QB sent a cryptic message to fans saying he knows that "Raiders want a QB." And he's leveraging that information tactically.

Sanders has been making calculated moves in divulging his next career move.

"X user @WalikWillis pointed out on Monday that Shedeur tweeted 'Thank you GOD' after every Raiders loss this season," Athlon Sports' Michael Gallagher wrote, extending another hint on the Shedeur-Raiders saga.

Well, sneaky messages or direct confessions, Shedeur has made it loud and clear that Raiders is his preferred team.
