Colorado Buffaloes alum and NFL safety prospect Shilo Sanders was snubbed from an NFL Combine invite this 2025 season. He was set to join brother Shedeur Sanders and his fellow Buffs DB Travis Hunter at the NFL scouting combine but was not one of the 329 players that made the cut.

Matt McChesney former Colorado football player joined the Zero 2 Sixty podcast to talk the state of the Colorado football program, Deion Sanders and the draft stock of Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders and Shiloh Sander's NFL Combine invite snub.

“He does, yeah, go six seventh-rounder, undrafted and then use that as fuel and fire to go (f___ g) tear up your opportunity and go play for 10 years, then just be like, ‘Yeah my brother went first pick overall, I went undrafted, I played for 10 years, he played for 12 years, like our dad is a first-ballot Hall of Famer.’ That’d be pretty cool to me,” McChesney said on the “Zero 2 Sixty” podcast.

“So look, just because he’s not going to the combine, I really, I really don’t give a [s__ t]. I think the combine’s there to wear Olympics, bro; like, the offensive lineman shouldn’t have to go to the combine.

"“I don’t give an [s__t] about 40 you run, I care about your bench presses, your injury report, and if you’re flexible. I can watch the tape and figure out if you can play.”"

Over 54 games, Sanders had 184 total tackles, nine pass breakups, five interceptions, five forced fumbles, a sack, and two touchdowns in six season as a college defensive back. In those six seasons Sanders played for South Carolina, Jackson State, and Colorado.

According to Pro Football Focus, he is currently ranked as the 235th-best prospect, with a sixth-seventh round grade.

Other top Colorado prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft include teammates: Jimmy Horn Jr. (WR), Will Sheppard (WR), LaJohntay Wester (WR) and Cam'Ron Silmon Craig (S).

The 2025 National Football League Draft, is scheduled for April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
