It's not every day you get to polish your skills with an NFL wide receiver—but that's exactly what Colorado's Danny Scudero and Kam Perry got to do.
LaJohntay Wester made a surprise visit over the weekend to work out at Colorado's indoor practice facility, even catching some flack from Coach Prime himself in Deion Sanders Jr's "Well Off Media" video.
Prime joked that Wester showed up in town without giving him a heads-up, but he wants the wide receiver at practices to push and help his other receivers.

Wester was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft (203rd overall) and appeared in all 17 games during his rookie season.
However, he didn't catch a single pass in 2025, getting limited playing time on offense. Instead, he spent most of his snaps on special teams, where he cracked the top 20 in the NFL in punt return yardage.
He exploded for an 87-yard punt return touchdown in the preseason—a play that helped lock down his spot on the team's 53-man roster.
In the video, you can see Wester, Perry, and Scudero working on their breaks and executing routes with proper footwork.

Not a bad learning opportunity for Perry, who ranked 3rd in the nation in average yards per catch (22.7) in 2025, and Scudero, who led the nation in receiving yards with 1,291.
Colorado will begin spring practices on March 2, with the Black & Gold spring game on April 11. Make sure to follow Glory Colorado on X for updates.
