Kansas State transfer Noah King is scheduled to visit Colorado next Tuesday and Wednesday, and Buffs fans should be fired up. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back was a four-star prospect out of Hamilton, Ohio, in the 2025 class and ranked as the No. 26 cornerback nationally by 247Sports.

King didn’t play a snap for the Wildcats this spring, entering the transfer portal just a few months after enrolling. He’s already made a visit to Miami (Fla.) and is set to visit Miami (Ohio), and Houston, but now he’s coming to the Flatirons. That tells me two things: 1) Colorado is on his short list, and 2) Coach Prime’s DB legacy still holds weight with top-tier talent.

At Hamilton High, King racked up 41 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, a sack, and an interception his senior year.

I think this is a great fit. The Buffs secondary flashed in 2024, but there’s still room to elevate. And if you’re building a culture of dogs in the defensive back room, you need guys like King. Physical, hungry, and ready to compete.
