Could Vegas be the NFL home of Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders?

The Shedeur Sanders pre-draft tour just got a little more interesting.

Next Monday, the Colorado quarterback is heading to Las Vegas to meet with the Raiders — and yeah, this one’s got some real juice. Even though Vegas just traded for Geno Smith and handed him a two-year extension, they’re still sniffing around quarterbacks in this class. That tells me one thing: the door's open.

Shedeur’s draft stock has been one of the biggest mysteries for the entire month. Depending on who you ask, he’s either a sneaky top-15 talent or a second-round gamble. The truth? He's most likely going in the Top-5.

And here’s where things get fun: Vegas holds the No. 6 overall pick. That feels low for Shedeur, even with Geno in the building. But if he starts to slide toward the bottom of the first round? Don’t be shocked if the Raiders make a move. Their second-round pick is No. 37, just behind the QB-hungry Browns and Giants. They’d have to trade up to secure him, but it’s doable.

Of course, there’s also the Deion Sanders factor. Prime made headlines last year when he told then-Raiders coach Antonio Pierce to “go get” both Shedeur and Shilo. Pierce is out now, but you have to think the Sanders family still likes the idea of Vegas. It’s flashy. It’s marketable. It’s got Tom Brady on the ownership team. Come on.

Personally? I’d love to see Shedeur land somewhere where he’s not rushed into action. Let him sit behind a vet like Geno, get his feet under him, and then take the reins in a year or two. The arm talent’s there. The leadership is there. The pedigree? Definitely there.

We’ll find out soon enough. But Vegas just became a team to watch.
