One of the players expected to break out the most for Colorado this season is third-year WR Omarion Miller. With the Buffaloes replacing their top four receivers from last season, Miller was projected to be the guy who filled the void left behind by Travis Hunter, LaJohntay Wester, Jimmy Horn Jr., and Will Sheppard.
In Miller's 2025 debut, he only caught one pass. It was an explosive play, going for 39 yards as he showcased his big-play ability. It was one of the few explosive plays for the Colorado offense all night against Georgia Tech.
Unfortunately for Miller and the Colorado offense, he was slowed by an injury. He tweaked his hamstring during the game. The injury appeared to occur during Kaidon Salter's touchdown run in the fourth quarter that tied the game.

On Tuesday, the update wasn't good for Miller's chances of playing on Saturday against Delaware. According to Coach Prime, Miller has not practiced since the injury.
Omarion Miller's status is in doubt for Saturday's game
While an official designation hasn't been given for Miller's status, at best, he would be listed as "questionable" heading into this weekend's home game against Delaware. The fact that he hasn't returned to the practice field yet points toward his likely being held out.
Deion Sanders and the coaching staff are going to want to be cautious with Miller this week. Hamstring injuries can be tricky. You have to rest it in order for it to heal, and it's one of those things that is easy to re-aggravate if you aren't careful.
There's a long season ahead for Colorado, and they're going to need Miller at 100% to be a Big 12 contender, which remains the goal for this team despite the season-opening loss.
Colorado should be able to handle Delaware just fine without Miller. They still have plenty of talented playmakers on the outside for Kaidon Salter - and freshman Julian Lewis - to throw the football to. His presence shouldn't make an impact on this game.
If it does, then Colorado has a lot bigger problems than an injury to their star wide receiver.
