Ryan Garcia and Colorado football continue to be closely linked in the year 2024.

Deion Sanders Jr. shared photos of multiple FaceTime calls that included himself, Garcia, his younger brother Shedeur, Antonio Brown, Deiondra Sanders' baby's father (rapper Jacquees) rapper Gillie Da Kid, and boxer Jermall Charlo, among others, on June 24 with the caption:

"I wish y’all could hear these FaceTime calls."

Previously, Garcia was a guest at the Black and Gold spring game in Boulder; being seen shadow-boxing with Shilo Sanders, who has a shoulder injury and probably shouldn't be doing any fast-twitch movements.

It appears as though the boxer has grown close with the Sanders sons and has earned enough respect from Coach Prime to be seen in his Buffs locker room.

Ryan Garcia one of the many celebrities involved with Colorado football

Most professional sports teams don't even have the list of celebrities that Colorado has hosted since Deion Sanders took over the program in December 2022.

No college team has ever hosted as many stars across the entertainment world as the "Prime Time" Buffs. In September 2023 alone, Lil Wayne performed a concert on campus, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson went on College GameDay in Boulder, and the likes of Offset, Master P, and Key Glock have been on CU's sidelines.

Garcia raised his stock exponentially in 2024 by defeating Devin Haney via majority decision in their WBC super lightweight championship fight on April 20. The fight has since been ruled a no contest, though, since Garcia's sample was found with an illegal substance. He's currently suing Haney and promoter Eddie Hearn over the result.

Garcia announced his retirement and seeks a potential UFC fight. As he keeps his name in the spotlight, expect more appearances in Colorado and around the Buffs via Shedeur, Shilo, and Bucky Sanders.
