According to former ESPN College GameDay analyst David Pollack, Deion Sanders' Colorado football program will be facing a "man child" at quarterback when they face Nebraska's Dylan Raiola -- one with Patrick Mahomes-esque qualities.

"This is a program that's only gonna continue to grow," Pollack said on the "SNAPS With Aaron and T-Bob" podcast. "Not only is it going to continue to grow because of their defense. Dude, they've got a man child at quarterback. They got a guy. Top 10 recruit in the country, Dylan Raiola.

"He looks like Mahomes. I'm not saying that he's Mahomes. I'm just saying when he throws the football, it's from all kinds of arm angles. It's crafty, it's unique. His heart rate is cool. He's calm, He's collected. He knows his answers."

So in the Big Red corner, you have a Mahomes archetype. In the Black and Gold corner, the Buffs have a Tom Brady-Mike Vick hybrid under center in Shedeur Sanders. That's the opinion of the "Grown QB" about his own game anyway.

Colorado football can expose Dylan Raiola on biggest stage

Under the bright lights at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, and broadcasted on NBC and Peacock, both the Buffs and Huskers have a chance to show that their opponent is overhyped on a massive stage.

While everyone is focused on Sanders being exposed by a highly physical Nebraska defense, it's Raiola who can have his entire narrative shattered in front of the whole world. The true freshman only has game experience against UTEP and CU's defensive line did well to put more pressure on North Dakota State's Cam Miller in Week 1 as the game went on.

Raiola has now been compared to a two-time NFL regular season MVP and three-time Super Bowl MVP. There's no going back.

Either the Huskers have a hero at QB or the prince who was promised but never delivered.
