Colorado football fans rally around Nick Saban's comments on Deion Sanders

In just a few hours, Colorado will be hosting their Week 1 game against North Dakota State, their first home matchup of the season. With Sanders and Co. preparing to take care of everything at Folsom Field, Saban, or more particularly, his words, are hyping up fans for CU's highly-anticipated opener.
"I'm all for Coach Prime" Nick Saban proudly said back in 2023; in a statement that is making waves yet again before week 1 of the 2024 season.
"He's doing a great job at Colorado," Saban further added during his interview on College GameDay, lauding Coach Prime for all the efforts he had been putting in the previous season.
Well, the words hold true for this season simultaneously, given the mighty recruitment efforts Sanders made over the offseason, luring in some of the biggest on-gridiron beasts like Jordan Seaton and LaJohntay Wester. Not only that, Sanders has molded top stars like the potential No.1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft Shedeur Sanders, and Travis Hunter, who's likely to be a formidable force through the air and in man-coverage defensively -- surrounded by a solid veteran OL rebuilt through the portal.
As fans felt a fresh breeze seeing Saban support Coach Prime, they also rushed to the comment section to praise the former Alabama HC for his kind words.

"Notice how the real coaches know ball," commented a fan, cheekily praising both Saban's and Sander's football acumen.
"Saban gets it," wrote another, whereas another fan recalled the time when Nick Saban praised last season's undefeated stars FSU, relating it directly to Colorado's scenario.
"I really trust his judgment, especially after saying FSU was one of the best teams he’s seen!!" another commented.
While some fans were trying to bring Saban down because of their hate for Deion Sanders, a user promptly wrote this to shut them all down: "He’s not saying this about just any coach."
