Deiondra Sanders, the oldest daughter of Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders, shared a curious take on LeBron James' son, Bronny, getting selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 55 pick in the 2024 NBA draft.

"Bronny got drafted by the Lakers," Deiondra prefaced before saying, "I love to see it lol. Y’all can’t tell me Legacies and last names dont matter."

Deiondra's take came amidst ESPN analyst Adrian Wojnarowski offering a retort to the nepotism accusations surrounding LeBron and his oldest son.

"I don't want to hear the charges, people talking about nepotism," Woj said. "The NBA is full of nepotism. The ownership level, front offices, coaching. I don't want to hear about it all of a sudden because Bronny James' father plays for the Lakers. It is rampant in this league."

Shedeur Sanders sure to face similar accusations when Colorado football QB reaches 2025 NFL draft

Shedeur Sanders has rightfully earned his keep as the top quarterback in the Big 12 and one of the top three QBs in the country heading into the 2024 season. He never had the kind of down year Bronny had before being drafted by his father's franchise.

But that's not going to stop the similar narrative many will hit the "Grown QB" with come the 2025 NFL draft.

Shedeur has arguably had special treatment from his father, Coach Prime, during the offseason with his freedom to go to the Louis Vuitton fall-winter show in Paris headlined by Pharrell Williams back in January with Shilo. But his skills will have him drafted early in the first.

Shilo is a different story. His mounting legal and health issues could have NFL front offices considering him in the later rounds or as an undrafted free agent. That's if his problems don't derail an NFL career entirely.
