Colorado football QB Shedeur Sanders wasn't controversial at all during his first "2 Legendary" podcast appearance.

The most noteworthy headline was that the "Grown QB" called Mountain America Stadium, home of the ASU Sun Devils, the best stadium he's played in during his three-year college football career; one that spent two years in Jackson, Mississippi with JSU and last season in Boulder with the Buffs.

"I would definitely say I like Arizona State," Sanders said (h/t AthlonSports). "Yeah, it was lively at Arizona State."

ASU was once a top party school -- not sure how exactly that's measured by the list-makers but so be it -- but now CU Boulder is in the top 25 at No. 19. Shedeur knows lively.

ASU showed visiting Buffs players and fans the kind of enthusiasm that occurs regardless of the Sun Devils' win-loss record. Despite the losing ASU did in 2023, its fanbase, which took the journey from the Pac-12 to the Big 12 with Colorado, offers a fun but hostile environment.

Could it be that Shedeur had the greatest memory of his life by flashing his customized stainless steel Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15500 wristwatch at the crowd after a walk-off win? Maybe.

Colorado football QB Shedeur Sanders continues building brand with 2 Legendary podcast

Shedeur is building up his NFL draft hype by labeling himself as "2 Legendary." It's fair to say he's giving the haters plenty of ammunition as well. He's also sending a clear message to NFL franchises that he's going to let his voice be heard.

One has to think Deion would have done something similar had podcasts been a thing during his playing days. In the age of NIL, "Neon Deion" would've been a rich man for speaking to the public unfiltered in a long-form setting. Even as a coach, he's doing long-form interviews and showing up on podcasts like the Nelk Boys.

His first episode didn't provide much drama, but one has to think Shedeur will be making major headlines in the future.
