FOX Sports' RJ Young believes Colorado football QB Shedeur Sanders already finds himself in the conversation with John Elway and Eli Manning before they got to the NFL: not in a position to need the money and highly sought after ahead of his foray into the professional ranks.

"John Elway refused to play for the Colts," Young prefaced before saying, "He ended up in Denver. Won two Super Bowls. Eli Manning refused to play for the Chargers. He ended up with the Giants. Won two Super Bowls. Neither QB needed the money. Both were highly sought. Shedeur Sanders fits the criteria."

The reason why Shedeur is being spoken about alongside Elway and Eli is because Coach Prime has already made a similar demand to the Denver Broncos Hall-of-Famer and NY Giants legend about Shedeur, plus his brother Shilo and Travis Hunter, only playing in an ideal situation.

"All this is subjective because I know where I kind of want them to go," Deion Sanders said on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast (58:55 mark) (h/t Bleacher Report). "And let's not forget Shilo (Sanders). But I know where I want them to go. There's certain cities where it ain't going to happen. ...It's going to be an Eli [Manning]."

Coach Prime has repeatedly bragged about the connections he has in the NFL and is one of the greatest legends the league has ever seen in pass-coverage, but even casual fans of the sport know that certain franchises -- the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and Cam Newton-less Carolina Panthers come to mind -- will doom your future.

By letting the NFL know his intentions a year ahead of time, Sanders is merely looking out for his own two sons and Hunter; hoping to see them in the right situation and using his massive influence to ensure it.

In a way, you have to respect it. Elway and Manning's careers are prime (pardon the pun) examples of why Coach Prime may just be onto something.
