Deion Sanders would allow sons, Travis Hunter to play for Eagles, 49ers, Cowboys, Commanders, Ravens, and Falcons
Deion Sanders went on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast and endorsed several NFL franchises he'd allow his sons, Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, and Travis Hunter to play for when they're drafted in 2025.
"Although Sanders did not name the cities he would prefer his sons and Hunter not play in, he agreed with the hosts that the Eagles would be a 'good fit,'" The New York Post's Jenna Lemoncelli prefaced before saying, "He also named San Francisco, Dallas, Washington and Baltimore as potential cities he would approve of them playing in — all of which are teams he played for during his 14-season career."
Sanders strongly endorsed Atlanta as a potential landing spot for his kids -- singing the praises of the city for allowing Black people to be in positions of power.
“There were certain cities that fit -- Atlanta fit,” Sanders said prefaced before saying, “And I want that for my kids. All of them. I want the right fit. First of all it was the ethnicity because that was the first time I saw Black people in positions of authority [doctors, lawyers]… It blew my mind… It was real in Atlanta. I had never seen anything like that in my life.”
Deion Sanders clowned for demands for Shedeur Sanders that Tom Brady, Pat Mahomes, and Aaron Rodgers never had
Coach Prime was clowned by OutKick's Amber Harding for making demands for Shedeur that the likes of Tom Brady, Pat Mahomes, and Aaron Rodgers never had before being selected in the NFL draft.
"Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers… None of them were too good to play in cold weather cities," Harding prefaced before saying, "But Shedeur surely deserves better!"
It's not the best look that Sanders is already trying to handpick where his sons and his overall top recruit as a coach will play when they get to the NFL, but once you brag about the connections you have in the league -- which he did while explaining how he knew Shedeur would've been the No. 2 QB taken in the 2024 NFL draft had he declared -- the floodgates are fully open at that point.
