The stakes are high and there's no room for jeopardy. Deion Sanders knows it all too well. That's precisely why Coach Prime is in no mood for any slip-ups, as he issues his straightforward, final verdict on facing Matt Rhule and Co. on September 7.

"We gotta do what we do. We got to go in there and do what we're capable of doing." Sanders asserted in his press conference released by Reach The People Media. "And I think we showed glimpses of that in the second half of our first game against a formidable opponent."

The war cry from Prime was loud and clear for everyone, even Shedeur Sanders.

In their last week's clash against North Dakota State, Shedeur Sanders took a high-risk call with just 31 seconds remaining in the game. Paying no heed to instructions given to them to run out the clock, Shedeur attempted a deep pass to LaJohntay Wester. Were it not for the Hail Mary opportunity by Cam Miller falling four yards short, Colorado could have easily lost the game.

Then Coach Prime did not hold back on expressing his bubbling anger in the post-game interview -- but this time, Sanders came composed and with one goal in mind: building that win streak.

This is how Colorado vs. Nebraska is looking 3 days before

This offseason's roster revamp has given Coach Prime all Colorado needs to solidify their reputation in CFB, which they miserably failed to do last season with 4 wins and 8 losses.

If Deion and Co. can maintain what they did with North Dakota State (minus the end-minute play-calls), with Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. obliterating it with their TD runs and Shedeur scoring over 400 yards, they can overcome the odds and come away from Lincoln, Nebraska with a win.

However, if the mistakes are repeated, chances are that this clash will end up being a down-to-the-wire one. Hearing the words of Deion has surely filled the black and gold crowd with anticipation, now all that's left for Sanders and Co. is to put on a good show.
